Dear conference participants,

We take great pleasure in inviting you to the 3rd International Conference on Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets , to be held in Korea University , Korea on 28-29 May 2011. The conference is hosted by AICG of Korea University and GCGF of Emerging Market Corporate Governance Research Network .

This conference will present a unique opportunity for you to continue to build relationships with experts and fellows, and make you increase your understanding and knowledge on corporate governance in emerging markets. The following is provided for your information.

2. ACCOMMODATION

Please notify the Secretariat regarding your flight schedule and accommodation. Participants will be accommodated at Grand Hilton Seoul hotel.

If you let us know your stay plan, Secretariat will arrange your hotel. The room charge for 1 night including breakfast is KRW 242,000 (including tax and service charge).

3. REGISTRATION

The conference attendees are to register via e-mail ( aicg@korea.ac.kr ) or fax (+82-2-3290-2552). Online registration at website ( www.aicg.org ) is also possible. The registration form is to be submitted no later than May 18, 2011.

4. TRANSPORTATION
From Incheon Int'l Airport to Grand Hilton Hotel

Airport Shuttle (No. 6005 Limousine Bus)
* Fare 10,000 KRW (about US$ 9)/ one way

Please head to bus stop 5B or 12A at 1 st floor of airport to take No. 6005 Airport Limousine.
The Limousine Bus will depart every 20-30 minutes from 05:45AM to 20:50PM.
Please take off at ‘Grand Hilton Seoul' bus stop.

Airport Pick-up Service

Airport pick-up service is also available. There are two options.

1. Limousine Pick-up Service

Service charge is KRW 115,000 (one-way).

2. Taxi Pick-up Service

Service charge is KRW 60,000 (one-way).

If you want to use this service, please leave your request on the registration form.

Between Hotel and Korea University

Transportation between Hotel and Korea University will be provided during the conference.
Departure time will be announced later.

5. SOCIAL PROGRAM

A half-day tour will be arranged for participants on 29 May. If you have an interest in it, please check ‘V' mark in registration form.

6. Visa

Those who require a visa to enter Korea should obtain one in advance. In case of doubt or if you need an invitation letter for a visa, contact the Secretariat. General information regarding visas can be obtained from the nearest Korean Embassy or consulate and the following website:

7. Other Information
Reception, Luncheons and Dinners

Participants are invited to the reception, luncheons, and dinners during the conference. Please indicate your participation on the registration form attached.

Dietary restrictions: If you will require a special diet (e.g., vegetarian meals), please inform us of your needs on the registration form in advance.

Mobile Phones in Korea

There are two alternatives depending on the type of your phone.

1. If your phone is WCDMA (or 3G phone), you will have no problem using it in Korea through the world wide roaming service.

2. If your phone is GSM phone, you need to borrow a phone from a local servicer since Korea does not provide GSM service. If you insert the SIM of your own phone into the borrowed one, you can maintain your old number.

Still, you are advised to check with your local servicer before you leave for Seoul , Korea .

The average daily temperatures in late May range from 14°C (57°F) to 18°C (64℉).
